<![CDATA[I have traveled much of my life. Growing up I spent more time in the air than most people do their entire lives. I grew up in a culture where art, traditions and nature were part of everyday life. I also come from a family that is rich with artists, poets, writers and entrepreneurs. I believe all of this has shaped my skill and passion to create and design spaces. Over the last two decades, I traveled with a purpose in mind. I wanted to find a place where beauty, culture and simplicity merged. The later years I searched for areas that had possibilities for a certain type of wedding and event venue. This search took me many places. I saw gorgeous backdrops and places that I felt were perfect. I talked to many venue owners and heard story after story about why they love the business and sometimes why they do not. Through my searches, I came to one conclusion, there is no perfect venue. Why, because this is subjective to the client and to the venue owner. But, there are spaces I will never forget because they evoked emotion in me. I truly feel that when a person experiences emotion and their five senses are heightened this is where the magic happens. Over the years, my events, spaces, homes and creations have always been memorable to those in attendance. I understand what people want because I listen and I have a skill to see the finished product before we begin. I also use the five senses rule and I know that I will never go wrong. In this blog, my topics are based on the trends, questions I receive from owners or opinions I have. If you have a topic you want covered please email me. Thank you for joining me on The Wedding Venue. Cheers, Lisa]]>
