Let’s Talk About Elopements

First I want to define what we call an elopement; it is a wedding ceremony with the couple, an officiant, photographers and some couples want to include their children. The ceremony can take place anywhere and it can be a whole day of events for just the couple or a simple ceremony. Guests can be added but it will then become a small micro wedding and that changes the cost and logistics.

There is a lot of confusion around elopements and small weddings, and the biggest confusion is the size and number of guests. Elopements are for just the couple.

Elopements are romantic, easy to plan, budget friendly and your wedding becomes just about the two of you. 

The types of elopements that you can find range from a courthouse elopement to an outdoor adventure elopement and everything in between. The beauty of an elopement is that you can do pretty much whatever you want because you have no guests to weigh in on your decisions and you keep the cost down by not having to pay for guests.

The average cost for an elopement ranges from $500.00 – $6000.00 depending on where you live and what you want included in your wedding day.
